Gold Label Pig Oil & Sulphur

An old traditional product used to lessen the risk of any mud-borne infections and leg mites.
Suitable for feathers on heavy horses.
Pig Oil is a useful, traditional method of controlling mud fever in horses and ponies by helping to create a barrier to wet conditions around the legs and preventing cracked heels. Pig Oil also prevents the feathers snapping due to wet & muddy conditions - the 'Bog Burn'.
The oil will act as a barrier to stop the mud sticking to the skin and the Sulphur will help fight any bacteria. It is very important you do a test patch first though, as not all Horses get along with it and some can have bad reactions to it. It is also used to prevent mites
